Terms of service
Acceptance of terms
By using Spendable, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website, app, or related services.
Use of Spendable
Spendable provides planning, forecasting, and spending guidance tools to help users understand upcoming bills, income, commitments, and possible safe-to-spend amounts. You agree to use the service only for lawful personal or permitted business purposes.
No financial advice
Spendable is not financial advice. The service provides general planning, forecasting, and spending information only. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions, including spending, saving, borrowing, investing, and bill payment decisions.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You should use accurate information when using Spendable so forecasts and calculations are as useful as possible.
Bank connection and data access
If you connect a bank or financial account, you authorise Spendable and its third-party connection providers to access information needed to provide the service. This may include account, balance, transaction, income, bill, subscription, and recurring commitment data.
You can stop using connected account features or request account deletion where available, but some data may need to be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons. How that data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
Forecasting and calculation limitations
Spendable estimates are based on the data available at the time and the assumptions used by the service. Forecasts, safe-to-spend amounts, bill predictions, and other calculations may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or affected by changes in your circumstances.
Subscriptions and payments
If Spendable introduces paid plans, the applicable subscription terms, pricing, billing cycles, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment provider details will be described in this section or in a separate policy made available before any purchase.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse Spendable, attempt to disrupt the service, access another person's account, reverse engineer the service, use it for unlawful activity, or submit false, harmful, or misleading information.
Termination
Spendable may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if the service is discontinued.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Spendable is not liable for losses caused by your reliance on forecasts, calculations, unavailable services, third-party integrations, or financial decisions you make while using the service.
Changes to terms
Spendable may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
